How I lead
Leadership starts with communication.

I make the complex clear, create alignment early, and build the trust that lets teams move with confidence.

AI should make good engineers better.

I am a practical advocate for AI-assisted engineering: using it thoughtfully to accelerate learning, sharpen ideas and remove repetitive work.

I still love writing code.

Hands-on technical work keeps my leadership grounded. I enjoy exploring systems, solving hard problems and staying close to the craft.

Beyond the job title

I care about the communities around the work too: I’ve led communications for 600 parents, volunteered in reading intervention, managed IT for a music school, and chaired the board of an Ofsted-rated Outstanding pre-school.
